Your goal is to survive as many enemy waves as possible while accumulating the highest score. Each wave introduces more enemies, faster projectiles, and tougher patterns. There is no final level — the game scales forever. Your score is submitted to the global leaderboard when you sign in.
Neon Blaster uses an endless wave-based difficulty system. Each wave is harder than the last:
| Wave Range | Enemy Type | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| Wave 1–3 | Basic drones | Easy Learn movement patterns |
| Wave 4–7 | Faster scouts + spread fire | Medium Dodge becomes essential |
| Wave 8–12 | Armoured units + bullet patterns | Hard Power-ups critical |
| Wave 13+ | Elite enemies + bosses | Extreme Leaderboard territory |
Reach wave 5+ to unlock scoring multipliers that dramatically increase your point total.
Your best score is saved locally as a personal best. Sign in to post to the global leaderboard.
Power-ups drop randomly from defeated enemies. Grab them immediately — they expire quickly.
Neon Blaster has a real-time global leaderboard. Create a free account with your email or sign in with Google to compete. Your best score syncs across all your devices automatically.
Guest players can still track a personal best stored locally in the browser.
