This Privacy Policy describes how Neon Blaster ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website at playneonblaster.com and our Android application ("App"). By using Neon Blaster, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Account data: If you create an account, we store your email address and display name in our database (hosted on Supabase).
Game scores: Your high scores are stored in our database when you are signed in.
Google Sign-in: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's OAuth service. We do not access any other Google account data.

Information Collected Automatically

Device information: Our Android app may collect device type, operating system version, and app version to diagnose crashes and improve performance. This information is not linked to your identity.
Local storage: Guest personal-best scores are stored locally in your browser/app via localStorage and are never sent to our servers.
Usage analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate page-view data (no personally identifiable information).

2. How We Use Your Information

To save and display your game scores on the global leaderboard.
To authenticate you across sessions.
To improve the game and fix bugs using anonymous analytics and crash data.
To respond to your requests and support inquiries.

3. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the service providers listed below, solely to operate the game:

Supabase — database and authentication (Privacy Policy)
Vercel — hosting and analytics (Privacy Policy)
Google — optional OAuth sign-in; optional AdSense advertising (Privacy Policy)

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use sessionStorage and localStorage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use first-party tracking cookies. Google AdSense (if active) may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.

5. Advertising

Neon Blaster may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to show personalised advertisements. See Google's ad policy for details. No ad revenue data is tied to your personal account.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide our services. Anonymous analytics data is retained per our analytics provider's policies.

Account deletion: To permanently delete your account and all associated data (scores, profile, email address), email us at dexteritydevelops@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address linked to your account. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm via email. Local data (localStorage, app cache) can be cleared at any time through your browser or device settings.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Neon Blaster is a general-audience game rated for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at dexteritydevelops@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and row-level security in our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

9. International Data Transfers

Neon Blaster is operated from India. Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers (Supabase, Vercel, Google) maintain infrastructure. By using Neon Blaster, you consent to such transfers. Where required by law (e.g., GDPR), appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are in place via our sub-processors.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data (see Section 6).
Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
Objection / Restriction: Object to or restrict processing of your data.
Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or email. Continued use of Neon Blaster after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
